Digital Footprint / Digital Citizenship
A digital footprint is little pieces of your computer that gets put into the memory of the computer. What I am trying to say is everything you do on your computer can be found. So be careful of what you do on your computer by not looking up at anything that is not right for your age level. Digital Citizenship is a person being respectful online and not being mean and saying mean things. It's also when a person is saying who they really are on there own profile and not pretending to be someone else. A good digital citizenship would be you being responsible online and not miss behaving. A bad digital citizenship would be people being mean and people bullying online and things like that.
Assignment: DigiTeen Introduction
After reading some introductions from other students in the project:
1. Look at the rubric so that you will know how the introduction will be graded (advanced is worth the most points, beginning is worth the least points).
2. Write 5 - 10 (or more) sentences to introduce yourself.
3. Pay particular attention to correct spelling, capitalization and punctuation - this is SCHOOL WRITING, not TEXT writing.
Hi my name is Michael. M and I am 12 years old. I also go to West Middle School in Iowa. Some of my hobbies are sports and most of my favorite sports are football,baseball, and basketball. Football is by far my favorite sport out of all of those. One thing I like to do on my Saturdays is watch some college football. My favorite Iowa football team is the Iowa Hawkeyes. What is your favorite college football team? I also am a big turkey and deer hunter and love to get out doors when I can. One thing I like to do out of school is 4-H because I also live on a farm. In 4-H I show pigs, but I have not one to many prizes showing pigs. I also have 1 dog his name is buddy he is a black lab. Right now he might not look that way because he just spilled yellow paint all over himself. He is not the smartest dog I have ever had. What kind of dogs do you have if you have a dog?
